MiniEncounters is a non-profit organization that provides therapy sessions using trained mini therapy horses. They offer group and one-on-one sessions to nursing homes, rehab facilities, veterans, and hospice patients. The mini horses are used to facilitate cognitive thinking, problem-solving, speech therapy, and socialization. Sessions can be held at the client's location or at their farm.
