Leg Up Farm offers therapy and equine-assisted services under one roof for individuals with special needs. Its programs include pediatric services and services for adults aged 21 and over, starting with a referral, a detailed assessment and a caregiver-approved intervention plan. The farm offers financial assistance for equine services, which are not covered by insurance. The organization grew out of a plan for a therapeutic riding center and opened its doors in 2010.
