Leg Up Experience offers a one-time interactive experience with horses for people, with a focus on those struggling with the effects of trauma. Sessions are run in small groups of four to six participants. Participants learn about the nature of the horse and how to connect and communicate with it through groundwork. The program works with partnering agencies that can add it to their mental health toolbox.
