LEAD offers equine-assisted services for people with physical, mental, or emotional needs. Its main program is therapeutic riding for people with disabilities or dysfunctions. It also runs equine assisted learning and ground lessons, where participants work with horses without riding, covering horse care, grooming, leading and lunging. Programs are aimed at a range of challenges, including autism, cerebral palsy, anxiety and ADHD. The organisation is based in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico.
