Justin's Place is based in Wilmore, Kentucky, and offers horse-based programs for children ages 3 to 13 with a disability or disorder diagnosis. Its recreation offering includes child-led one-on-one sessions with a riding lesson and small group lessons in grooming, tacking and riding. Therapeutic horseback riding is central to its mission, and it also runs mentoring with a horse for children with trauma history and vaulting. Education workshops use the horse as a motivator to learn reading.
