I. Stable note
In their own words.
Hope Reins is a ranch in Raleigh, North Carolina, that serves children and teens aged 5 to 18 who are in life crisis. The programs are offered free of charge at the ranch. Sessions pair the children with rescued horses, which the organization says helps them build trust and begin healing. The ranch has 17 rescued horses and a 38-acre property with an outdoor arena and round pen.
