Hof Oberg

Hof Oberg is a pedagogical farm at Oberg near Ilsede where children and young people learn through working with horses and other farm animals. The programme is built on holistic learning - "with head, heart and hand" - and covers everything from leading and grooming to first work in the saddle, stable duties and campfire afternoons. Regular participation runs through the Ranch-Club, and a separate supervised programme is offered during the school holidays. New participants start with a trial session so the right group or individual format can be chosen. The yard is home to a dozen horses and ponies alongside dogs, hens and other animals.
