Het Helpend Hoefje offers individual pedagogical guidance with horses for children up to 18. Sessions work one-to-one on agreed goals such as social skills, concentration, self-confidence and reducing anxiety, with the horse used to support those goals. It also offers the Brainblocks treatment method, combined with experiential activities with the horses. The practice is run by Ingrid van Veen, a pedagogue trained in Equine Assisted Therapy, and works from Ouddorp, where the horses live on a paddock paradise.
