Hemavati Pferdetherapie is an equine physiotherapy practice run by qualified therapist Lara Sander from Wunstorf in the Hanover region. The work is described as holistic horse physiotherapy: mobilisation, stretching and massage aimed at restoring range of movement, easing pain and improving general wellbeing. Typical reasons for a visit are a drop in performance, changes in behaviour under saddle and rehabilitation after injury. Supporting techniques include taping, magnetic field therapy, heat treatment, acupressure, stress point massage and leech therapy. Reiki for animals and people is also offered.
