Green Meadow Farm is a faith-based nonprofit that offers lessons free of charge to children and teens struggling with trauma or emotional difficulties. Children work with horses and farm life, including chores, horse care and handling, and riding, to build communication skills and healthy attachment. Each child is paired with an instructor who personalizes the lessons, and a parent or caretaker stays on the property during each session. The farm has welcomed children and families to its lessons since the spring of 2012.
