Great Strides offers Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning for adults on personal healing and development through relationships with horses. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is provided by a licensed mental health professional, while Equine Assisted Learning is an educational approach to identifying and managing emotion. Sessions use the therapy herd in an experiential setting at Mezza Luna Farm in Damascus, Maryland. The founder is an Eponaquest Instructor and a certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor.
