Giddy-Up and Ride offers hippotherapy, a treatment that uses the movement of a horse to improve neurological function and sensory processing. A trained therapist positions each client on the horse and adjusts the horse's movement to suit the individual. Sessions are also used to encourage communication, self-esteem and interaction with others. The business works with volunteers and horses for these sessions.
