In their own words.
Ganzheitliche Tiertherapie Myriam Bauer is a holistic animal therapy practice in Achern-Wagshurst, Baden-Württemberg, run by Myriam Bauer, a certified animal physiotherapist, osteopath, acupuncturist and nutrition adviser for dogs and horses. The practice combines three approaches: osteopathy (finding and treating functional disorders by hand), physiotherapy (restoring movement and function through individual treatment plans) and animal naturopathy / Tierheilpraktik (including acupuncture, homeopathy, herbal medicine, leech therapy and nutrition). The whole-animal philosophy aims to improve overall wellbeing and quality of life rather than just easing symptoms, as a meaningful complement to veterinary care. Typical reasons to come include pre- and post-operative care, skeletal and spinal issues, muscle, ligament and tendon injuries, neurological complaints, circulation and respiratory problems, wound and scar care, metabolic and digestive concerns, age-related decline, stress, and performance support. Dogs are seen at the practice, horses are treated at their own stables, and mobile visits are possible for special cases.
