Friederike von Basum

Friederike von Basum runs a mobile osteopathy practice for horses and dogs from Meppen in the Emsland district of Lower Saxony. She trained first as an osteopathic equine therapist and then as an osteopathic canine therapist at the Fachschule für Osteopathische Pferde- und Hundetherapie, where she has worked as an assistant since December 2015. Treatment combines manual osteopathy with dry needling, BEMER magnetic-field therapy and leech therapy. Sessions take place at the horse's own yard so the animal stays in familiar surroundings. She is a member of the DGOP and attends regular professional training.
