The Exceptional Riders Program offers horseback riding lessons for people with physical, mental, and emotional support needs. Students are taught riding skills in eight-week spring and fall sessions, with one-hour lessons of mounted exercise, games, and riding instruction. Goals are set for each rider according to their needs, experience, and ability level. Instructors are PATH certified, and the horses are donated by Rising Hope Equestrian Center. Students participate free of charge.
