EQUIVIA is a centre for equine-assisted therapy (équithérapie) near Bordeaux, in Léognan. Sessions use a horse as support for working on psychological, relational and physical goals. Sessions take place on foot beside the horse or from its back, in an enclosed arena, on a lunging circle, or sometimes outdoors. The centre serves people from early childhood to seniors. It also offers a one-week discovery training in equine mediation for professionals.
