Equine Effect Therapy offers counselling that can include horses as part of the therapeutic process. The practitioner holds a counselling qualification and has completed specialised training in Equine Assisted Therapy. Sessions can happen through conversation, through connection with a horse, or a combination of both. No prior experience with horses is needed to take part. The approach is trauma-informed, person-centred and strengths-based.
