Equessense Therapeutic Horseplay is a non-profit program that uses horses to support people with a wide range of abilities and needs. Its aim is to provide the therapeutic benefits of experiential riding to as many people as possible, at a cost that would exclude no one. Under the supervision of a trained facilitator, the horses act as teachers and therapists for the riders. The program has worked with people with autism, language impairments, emotional or behavioral disorders, and histories of abuse.
