Elliott Acres Therapeutic Riding Center is a certified therapeutic riding centre serving western Pennsylvania. It offers riding lessons for people with physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities. The programme teaches basic horsemanship principles that aim to improve riders' movement, concentration and communication. Lessons are held during a riding season from April through November, and the centre uses its own horses for them.
