Connecticut River Equine Massage offers bodywork for horses, including equine myofascial release, massage, and somatic movement work. The practitioner, Kari O'Brien, begins each session by observing how the horse stands, breathes and distributes weight before treating it. Sessions are adapted to the individual horse and may include detailed reports with exercises for the owner to practise between visits. The service covers horses across several Connecticut counties.
