Charlottesville Area Riding Therapy (CART) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing therapeutic recreational horseback riding to children and adults with special needs. Their approach focuses on fun while encouraging riders to try new and challenging exercises. Lessons are rider-centered, adapting to individual needs, interests, and abilities. All therapeutic riding sessions are conducted by Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) certified instructors.
