Challenge New Mexico has been providing support for people with disabilities since 1957. In 1992, they added a therapeutic horseback riding program to offer physical, emotional, and mental support. The program has positively impacted individuals with special needs, their families, volunteers, and teenagers. The organization aims to empower individuals to be independent, caring, and happy community members through their equine-assisted activities.
