In their own words.
Camp Cowboy is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans, active duty soldiers, first responders, law enforcement officers, and their families cope with and heal from the stressors associated with their service. They utilize the powerful bond between horses and humans through equine-assisted growth programs and education. The program focuses on building a strong connection between participants and horses, fostering self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and healthy coping mechanisms. Camp Cowboy aims to create a supportive community where individuals can process their experiences and reconnect with themselves and others.
