Beyond Balance is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization that provides equine assisted activities. Mounted activities let participants learn riding skills while on the horse, and ground lessons teach horsemanship to those for whom riding is not yet appropriate. The organization serves individuals with special needs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. It also runs community outreach to educate groups about therapeutic riding. Classes take place at a privately owned farm, and visitors are asked to call ahead.
