Angel Heart Farm is a nonprofit organization that uses equine assisted therapy for children facing chronic or life threatening illnesses and their families. The therapy is offered alongside the children's medical treatment and involves brushing, feeding and riding horses. The farm works with the whole family, including siblings, and coordinates with children's nurses, physicians and social workers. Services are provided at no cost to families. Some of the children also take part in local and regional horse shows.
