The Sykehouse Show is a traditional village agricultural show held on the first Sunday of August, first held in 1884. It has classes for Shire horses, ponies, hunters, show jumping and gymkhana, as well as cattle and sheep. It also has arts and crafts, horticulture and trade stands.
