Rio Grande Stables offers guided horseback and mule trail rides just north of Taos, New Mexico. Rides run through the Carson National Forest, across Cebolla Mesa and into the Taos Ski Valley. The stables offer guided rides for riders of all levels on gentle, well-trained horses. The operation runs seasonally from mid May to late September. It is a family-run business with over 30 years of experience.
