The NorthEast Texas Trail Coalition manages a 130-mile recreational trail system in Northeast Texas. The trail is designed for biking, hiking, walking, and equestrian use. It is being developed into a state park and aims to be the longest linear state park in Texas and a significant trail of its kind nationally. The coalition works with various agencies and public support to create a comprehensive trail system.
