Moab Horses runs guided backcountry horseback trail rides from Hauer Ranch on the Colorado River north of Moab, Utah. Rides cross open desert range and the ranch's surrounding land managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The ranch keeps its own herd of horses, including Quarter Horses, Missouri Fox Trotters and Appaloosas, along with mules. The ranch operates year-round and advises booking trail rides in advance.
