Beaver Meadows Stables offers private guided horseback rides in the Roosevelt National Forest near Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Each ride is reserved only for the guest's own group, and the pace is matched to the riders' experience. The stable's horses are personally owned by the operators and are known individually for trail riding. Rides range from one hour to longer mountain trips, with gentle horses for beginners and opportunities to trot and canter for experienced riders when trail conditions allow.
