Avalanche Outfitters at Redstone Stables offers private, custom horseback rides on trails near Redstone, Colorado, from 1 to 8 hours daily. Overnight pack trips into the Maroon Bells Wilderness run in summer, between July 15 and August 31. The business also runs guided big game hunts and drop camp hunts that use horseback packing in and out. Horseback riding season typically runs from May 10 to August 31, with some openings in September and October.
