I. Stable note
In their own words.
Van Baalen Farms - Young horses is an all-inclusive rearing yard for foals and young horses in Brakel, Gelderland, run by Arie Jr. and Jacobine van Baalen. Foals are kept in groups in spacious stables with year-round access to a drained sand paddock and summer pasture. Each foal gets a health screening on arrival and daily checks, with a ration of home-grown roughage, concentrates and a custom mineral mix. The yard is part of the Van Baalen family business, which also includes Dressuurstal van Baalen.
