Steinwaldhof is a modern boarding and breeding stable for Icelandic horses in the southern Fichtelgebirge area near Kemnath. It offers open stables, box boarding, paddocks and summer pasture. Training facilities include an indoor arena, an oval track, a round pen and a treadmill. The farm breeds horses from its own mares and stallions, offers horses for sale and takes part in shows and events.
