Stall Altmühlen is an open-stable horse keeping yard. Mares are kept in a main paddock herd of eight, and geldings in a separate herd of three to four, divided by a double fence. The horses are fed hay four times a day on solid ground, with shelters, straw racks and grazing management. The yard also has an indoor arena, a riding area and a round pen for working with horses, plus hacking terrain nearby.
