Stal de Swaen is a livery yard in Witten, close to Assen, run by Max Zwaneveld and Paula Herweijer. In summer horses live day and night in a herd on pasture, and in winter they stand in spacious straw-bedded boxes at night with daily turnout. The yard has an indoor arena, a lit 20x40 outdoor arena, a summer jumping paddock and access to nearby nature areas for hacking. The farm also breeds Gelderse (KWPN) sport horses and Lakenvelder cattle.
