Resilient Reins Rescue is a horse sanctuary that takes in horses that have been neglected, abandoned, abused, or relinquished. The rescue cares for around 27 horses, including former dude string horses, retired racehorses, trotting champions, and brood mares saved from slaughter. The horses are cared for daily by the founder and a small dedicated team with board members. The rescue also plans to develop an Equine Assisted Therapy program and is working through a certification process.
