Ranch of Trust is a family-run open stable (Offenstall) on Burg Niederberg in Erftstadt, North Rhine-Westphalia, where horses and ponies from Shetlands to heavy horses live together in a mixed herd with 24-hour freedom of movement. The yard specialises in the youngest riders: led pony rides from age one, seat school from age three, the Pony-Fuehrerschein certificate from age four, and lunge or private lessons from age eight. Facilities include a 16 m round pen, a floodlit all-weather arena, mud-free and natural paddocks, natural trail obstacles, a small jumping course, tack rooms, a wash bay and a riders' lounge. Stable birthday parties are also offered, and the surrounding fields, woodland and stream give plenty of hacking ground.
