Pferdepension Möwenhof is a horse boarding yard in Großefehn, East Frisia, set on around seven hectares between the resorts of Timmel, Wiesmoor and Westgroßefehn. The yard runs a movement-stable concept and keeps horses in large herds with year-round turnout. Its speciality is convalescent care: the mild North Sea coastal climate and the stable layout make it a known address for horses with respiratory disease, allergies, laminitis, arthrosis, Cushing, EMS, tendon injuries or behavioural problems. Healthy horses and retirees are equally welcome, and daily medication and individual care are part of the service.
