Pferdepension MeerZeit is a horse boarding and rehabilitation yard on the North Sea coast near Hinte in East Frisia. The stable is run as an Aktivstall, an active open-stable system with generous space, several feeding stations and constant herd contact, so horses live as naturally as possible. Alongside regular boarding the yard takes in rehabilitation horses with chronic respiratory disease, locomotor problems or behavioural issues, using the mild coastal climate as part of the recovery programme. Courses and seminars on hoof care, equine health, groundwork and gymnastic training run through the year.
