Paardenrusthuis van der Kruis is a retirement home for older horses, operating since 2000. Horses get maximum turnout, roomy stables with straw bedding and plenty of roughage grown on the family's own land. Care includes daily checks, hoof trimming by an experienced farrier, periodic worming and annual flu vaccination. Several stabling options are offered across locations in Leende, Heeze, Maarheeze and Soerendonk, and owners remain the owners of their horses.
