I. Stable note
In their own words.
Paardenrusthuis Montana is a retirement home for horses in the polder near Streefkerk, started in September 2016. It takes in old and injured horses and ponies, which can move freely between indoors and outdoors all year round. Unlike a standard retirement yard, owners may take their horse out and use the arena and lunging ring. The yard is run alongside the family's dairy farm and care farm.
