McCarthy Farm is a privately-owned stable in Elgin, Illinois, on 25 semi-wooded acres. The facilities include a heated barn with large stalls, wash stalls for horses, and two arenas, one indoor and one outdoor. Amenities for riders include tack rooms, wash rooms with showers, and a viewing room. The farm sits across from a forest preserve with about 5 1/2 miles of paths for trail rides. The stables offer horse boarding.
