I. Stable note
In their own words.
La Gène is a farm near Cintegabelle in Haute-Garonne, France. It offers horse boarding on pasture, with horses kept in groups of two or three on paddocks with shelters. Since September 2023 the farm has run a boarding model it calls Pension au Pré Raisonnée, in which horses live in a herd on a track linking several shelters. The farm also grows its own forage, which is provided to the horses in round-bale racks. Earlier, from 2010 to 2018, the farm bred sport horses.
