Islandpferde vom Lührshoff

Islandpferde vom Lührshoff is a boarding yard at Nindorf in the Hanstedt area of the Lüneburg Heath, run by Stefanie Haake, with around fifty Icelandic horses kept in small open-stable groups. Separate groups are run for mares, geldings, senior horses and horses with metabolic conditions, and the yard handles supplementary feeding and medication. Facilities include two dressage arenas, a natural oval track, a lunging circle and a gallop track, with extensive hacking through the surrounding heath. Schooling and riding lessons are available, the yard arranges farrier and veterinary visits, and courses, rallies and social events run through the year.
