Islandpferde vom Eekenholm

Islandpferde vom Eekenholm is an Icelandic-horse yard on a farmstead dating from 1821 in Lilienthal-Seebergen, five minutes from Bremen-Borgfeld. Barbara Reichenberger and Ulrike Gast offer boarding in several open-stable groups with direct pasture access, or in large loose boxes with outdoor paddocks, for around forty Icelandic horses and a few larger horses. Facilities include a small indoor school, a sand arena, an oval track, a round pen and a grass arena for in-hand work, with extensive hacking through the Wümme meadows. Riding lessons for children and adults are given on the yard, equine-assisted therapy is offered, and a visiting instructor teaches the classical-academic style.
