HorseCompetence at Osterholz-Scharmbeck combines horse-assisted learning with an innovative boarding operation. Katharina and Christoph von Lingen run seminars in groundwork and liberty work, horse-assisted personality development, and personnel and team development for organisations, on the premise that horses mirror human behaviour. Individual coaching and training of clients' horses are also offered. On the keeping side the yard runs an active stable with paddock boxes and managed pasture, built around species-appropriate housing.
