Hof Tönns

Reitanlage Hof Tönns is an FN-certified five-star livery yard at Marxen, about 30 km south of Hamburg near the Thieshope motorway exit, in operation since 2006. Horses are kept in generously sized boxes with paddocks and daily turnout, bedded on straw, and are fed hay or haylage two to three times a day plus oats or muesli three times. The facility has a riding hall, a dressage arena, a jumping arena, a lunging hall and a horse walker, along with a solarium and two wash bays with heated water. The yard administers veterinary medication, runs an annual worming programme and notifies owners by SMS if there is a health concern. Trailer parking and summer grazing are part of the offer.
