Elegius Mini Equine Sanctuary

Elegius Mini Equine Sanctuary is a non-profit sanctuary that provides permanent, lifelong housing and care for miniature horses, donkeys, mules and ponies. Established in 2017, it cares for abused, abandoned or neglected equines, including animals that other rescues find difficult to place. The sanctuary houses up to 25 equines on site and accepts animals from animal control, law enforcement, other rescues and private owners. It also runs an adoption program for equines that can be rehomed, and accepts returns if an adopter's circumstances change.
