Der Erlenhof is an Icelandic horse farm in Essen, opened in 1990 by Heidi Kammann on a former family farm. About 45 Icelandic horses are kept in open-stable housing. The farm offers boarding (Pension), training (Beritt and Ausbildung) and riding lessons. It also runs Hippolini riding courses for children aged 4 to 10.
