The club was founded in 1976 and is based at Charlottenhof in Frankfurt Bergen-Enkheim. It operates as a livery yard with individual boxes for private horses, kept in indoor stalls, group paddocks and individual paddocks. Facilities include an indoor arena, a jumping arena, a dressage arena and a covered walker, with riding out from the yard. Visiting riding instructors give private lessons several times a week, and the club organises clinics on dressage, jumping and groundwork, as well as an annual riding tournament and a riding badge course.
